I will need clear, vases for my centrepieces. (Peony - Short Vase, Goldfish - Tall Vase)
I've looked around, The cheapest I've seen is in Ikea for $20, but they were very big which would mean more foilage than I wanted to buy. I tried retail and its amazing the prices you have to pay for a bit of glass!
So I needed Alternatives. I had to think about the weight and fragility factor, also buying 10+ of the same style vase seemed a bit extreme, so I thought Versatility - I could get some tall storage jars which could be reused later... Or use Plastic, which would have them light and durable. So there are many options but none of the items I've found are within my budget. :(

On that note Friends! Please keep your clear wine bottles for me. I'm after the Bordeaux ones, not the fat burgundy ones.
Also does anyone have any experience in bottle cutting?
