Sucker for lace trim.

I'm a sucker for a lace trim.

Today I wandered into Mallani on George Street to ask about a few gowns i saw on their website.

They had a sale on the floor stock too some up to 75%! If youre a size 8 - 14 pop in for a bargian!

The gowns were a little too OTT for me, but they do have some really nice full lace offerings.

One that caught my eye was Pandora which was full lace dress with a beautiful trim which arched over the sides and up over the stomach. There was also lace "ribbons" on the side and back. to give the illusion of folds in the dress The collar was lace boatneck, with a sweetheart edge inside. It was a beautiful old ivory colour.

The fit, i had hips!

Lots of fabric - huge train.
the sequins on the ripples were off-putting.
The sleeves were in the wrong spot and made my arms look wrong.

Actually theres more, just look under Cakes: And be scared/horrified/intrigued and amused.

My Cake - I'm picturing something small, classic, chocolate, moist. colour themed with the wedding. Maybe a cake topper. Something I am looking at making myself.

The Catwalk. They exhibited a few of the dresses and mens suits on offer. The highlight was the men. The strutted their stuff in suits and kilts (one guy actually had a fan club!)

THEN they did an underwear session. >_< style="font-weight: bold;">Post:
After the show...
