- Stephs parents buying my parents a roast pig (just because)
- Steph and I buying a new bed - no we wont have kids rolling all over our new bed. Fertility isn't a core goal in this stage of our lives.

As pretty as a Cake

Hrm! That reminds me... I bought about 20 of those butterflies in red and white, just before Christmas! They were on special (1 dolla! Cheep Cheep!)
I have no idea where I've packed them - hopefully I'll find them before the big day!

Saturday Bridal Drive
My first excursion of dress shopping! Happened down south, we popped into the following stores
When i find photos of the gowns ill post them up for all to see!
- Curvaceous Bridal
- 136 Oak Road, Kirrawee 2231 NSW Australia
- Nice shop, lovely ladies who helped me into some boofy pieces. However they nailed the dress first time round with a Brides Desire dress called Melissa. Made with Thai silk, with a heartshaped cut, ripples over the tummy, slight fishtail with a small train. Cant find any photos of it :( There were diamonds and crystals over breast and the back of the dress. Cost $2200. However I asked another bridal shop and they said it would only cost $1400. So it pays to get the designer and the dress name and ask around!
- DresSense
- This place was HECTIC 400 gowns and what seemed like 400 brides looking for a dress! I found the dresses were pretty much the same here. I wasnt keen. But Lu needed to buy some bling so we wandered around and look. Found nothing i would put on. and the extra pricing on plus size gowns was a turn off.
- Lu Elle Bridal
- This shop was downstairs. It was quiet, and we wandered in. And the gowns were so different! There were the normal princess gowns but there were aslo some corkers! I pulled out this halter neck with GOLD beading on white! hahaha! Kathleen's face was PRICELESS! I also found a two piece with sequined pastel flowers, mauve, pink, sky blue, on yellow cream! There was one trimmed with burgundy and there was even a BLUE wedding gown! Lu thought of big fat greek wedding! Lots of WAHH! OMG! (What were they thinking?) We picked 4 gowns.
- The gold beaded gown. Lace up at the back with shiny heavy satin. with a plunge that plunged.... Think of that free diving off the pacific islands.... it was THAT low.
- The 2nd was too big. but had a beautiful lace trim with a sweep from the bodice down. There was a sweetheart neckline along with off shoulder lace straps. It was HUGE the train was something magnificent! 2m long with beautiful trim and a seated diamond mofit on the back.
- There was a strapless pink flowers embroidered gown with rays of swarkovski over the stomach. It fitted perfectly! The flowers were beaded and very pink but it was soo cool! I would wear that for the fuzzy hong kong shots. Steph would be in a white tux and a pink tie. (I doubt i could keep a straight face.) Im going to go back in July and if its on speical - i'll buy it for dress up parties!
- The last gown was near full lace, with a straight cut and A gown. a bit too much boof, would have to have the tulle lowered a bit so there was a bit of hip clinging. The train on this was just as pretty too!
When i find photos of the gowns ill post them up for all to see!
